Sterilize the jars by boiling to keep the jam. (Soak the jars in water before boiling. Bring water to a boil, and boil the jars for 10 minutes. Take them out from the water and rest on a clean cloth. Air dry.) This recipe contains the sugar equivalent to 40% of the prunes. If you want to keep the jam for a long time, I recommend you to increase it to 50 - 60 %.
