I May Not Eat Meat Any More but I
Used to and My Husband Still Does
so I Make Him and His Meaty Friends
and My Family This Quite a Lot. Im
a Firm Believer in Getting Meat
from the Butcher in My Case the
Market That Way You Know Its Local
You Know Its Not Been Sprayed with
Presevative and You Can Ask for
Advice When Buying It and Where It
Has Come From. I Use Beef Shin as
It is Cheap Tasty and Not Overlly
Fatty. I Do Cut Out All Gristley
Bits but Leave in the Little Veins
of Fat for Moisture, and Yes This
Does Take Some Time but I Think Its
Worth It. You Could Buy Ready Diced
Braising Steak from the Super
Market but You Will Get a Lot More
for Your Money from the Butcher,
for the Record It Cost About 4 for
3 Thick Slices of Shin Beef Which
is About 1.5lbs of Meat. However
You Get Your Meat Though This Will
Taste Nice. I Serve This with Baked
Potatoes
