Most of pastry recipes call for
caramel . It is quite delightful
and generally makes everything
taste better. Making caramel is
very easy, it just makes sense to
make your homemade caramel for your
pastry. Caramel is a bit high in
sugar but since it's almost always
used to taste up a cake or pastry
in a small amounts, it's not so
bad. Caramel can be refrigerated
and come in form of candy.
