We found this recipe and tweaked
the ingredients a bit to come up
with a nicely sweetened beer bread
with a great crunchy top. The
secret to our success was using a
honey beer (or you can use a
sweetened pop such as 7Up, too,
just don't use a diet pop, as the
flavor will not be the same). This
is good on its own, or served in
chunks alongside dips or spreads -
the sweetness works well with the
salty dips. The bread was
excellent warm from the oven and
slathered in butter!
