There’s nothing quite
like this delicious sandwich. With
its ground beef and tomato filling
(traditionally served spilling out
of a bun), the Sloppy Joe is about
comforting as food can get. Its
origins, though, remain mysterious.
Some say it hails from Cuba, others
from Florida or possibly Iowa.
Wherever it started, the sandwich
is simply, scrumptiously good. In
our version, we pair it with a
winter salad and roasted steak
fries (long, savory potato wedges).
