Short Description

I grew up loving traditional french quiche made by my step-mom, who was a hell of a cook. When I grew older and got my own kitchen, I started trying to make some of my favorite dishes from my childhood. I tried so many quiche recipes and could never get it quite right. I wanted lots of veggies, fluffy un-condensed egg and a thin savory shell. Finally one morning with only an hour or so to spare before work, I started throwing this together. I found an easy crust recipe online that I made my own and figured the rest out for myself. It was fun as hell to make and my roommates couldn't stop eating it. I've made it several times since then, each differently, each just as tasty as the last. It's fun to make with kids! Cause you make all of the decisions as you go! Great for kitchens that have a constant stock of veggies(I get mine delivered from a local farm every week, so we have to get creative to use all of them).
